Facilitator Information - Danny Waddell
Danny Waddell is a seasoned DJ and event producer who made Hawai‘i his home in 2014 after spending a decade in Orlando, Florida, and growing up in Atlanta, Georgia. He also happens to be one part of the creative team that hosts the current iteration of Ecstatic Dance Honoka‘a events.
Danny’s journey as a DJ started nearly three decades ago. He cut his teeth in the Atlanta rave scene during the 90s, refined and honed his skills in the Orlando club circuit in the 2000s and 2010s.
In 2019 he felt an internal shift towards the art form of constructing Ecstatic Dance sets. Since then, he has immersed himself in the world of conscious and global dance music. His sets are not bound by genre; they are guided by the intention of exploring humanity, empathy, and the full spectrum of emotions.
