International Peace Day in Honokaa

The Peace Committee of Honoka‘a  Hongwanji Buddhist Temple is back and promoting Peace, this year teaming  up with the Honoka’a Business Association and Hawai’i Diaper Bank to celebrate International Peace Day with a multicultural block party  instead of a parade.  The annual Festival is taking place along Māmane  Street from 12-5 on September 21, put on your grooviest Peace Movement attire and come on down to Honoka’a for all of your favorite Honoka’a  businesses, food trucks, craft vendors, a splash tank and live music. At  3pm hop on over to the Cafe Il Mondo for their Peace is Groovy Baby  70’s Costume Dance Party!

Any time throughout the day, bring  a package of diapers, wipes, other essential baby needs, or a cash  donation to the Hawaii Diaper Bank and you will be entered into the  prize giveaway drawing.
