Kiah Abendroth returns to the Big Island for an eve with Aaron Loeser on bass, Russell Lundgren drums, and Alex Czerny on piano. Lady  Kiah is a third generation female trumpet player. Classically trained  on the trumpet, Kiah explores realms of improvisation and innovation  with equal measures of loving sweetness and sassy passion.  Although Kiah’s training is  classical, she also enjoys playing free improvisation, jazz, world,  reggae, sacred music, folk and more! Kiah has performed with some  incredible artists (Ozomatli, Elijah Ray, Fantuzzi, Amber Lily &  Tubby Love) in addition to various chamber orchestras, pit orchestras  and jazz ensembles in New York City and around the USA. Find out more about Lady Kiah or contact her here: www.linktr.ee/kiahmusic

Kiah  is thrilled to be working with the Hamakua Youth Center to raise funds  and awareness for Hawai'i's youth to thrive. Kiah is dedicated to  creating experiences for community of all ages to come together and  elevate one another through music and the arts.

The  Castaways is a unique group of musicians from the Big Island of Hawaii,  whose varied styles defies easy categorization. A combination of jazz,  rhythm, and blues, folk, rock, reggae, and a touch of Hawaiian is in the  mix for this group that includes Richard Russell on lead vocals &  guitar, Brian McCree on standup bass, Jesse Snyder saxophone, clarinet,  flute & vocal,  Alex Czerny on piano, Pat Eskildsen guitar &  backing vocals, and Noa Eads on drums.
