The Speakeasy Four

Attention all you cool cats: The Speakeasy Four, a celebration of the music of the Roaring 1920s, is coming to Honoka’a in January! This swinging quartet will serve up favorites of the era, including jazz classics like “Mack the Knife,” “St. Louis Blues,” “Stardust,” and “Avalon,” plus early tango by Carlos Gardel, klezmer, Hawaiian melodies, and more!With a star-studded lineup and great tunes, this concert is sure to be the bee’s knees! The group features internationally acclaimed concert violinist Eric Silberger, former lead trumpeter of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Farley Sangels, former Broadway music director Jason Sherbundy tickling the ivories, and Joey Carroll on double bass and vocals. Plus, a special guest appearance from clarinet and saxophone whiz Jesse Snyder and Ursula Knudson of LA based Fishtank Ensemble!  Our sparkly dame MC for the eve will be the sublime Miss Angel Prince leading us thru the decade of rip roaring…
